Q and FoldedCat Introduction

June 23, 2011

March 2011 I was hired at branding and creative agency Q LTD as an Interactive Producer. At Q I will be developing websites, videos and anything else they throw at me. From here on out, ScottTolinski.com will be used to not only provide updates and work done by my freelance projects, but my professional projects at Q and any experiments I am partaking in. I will also be moving away from freelancing under the name Scott Tolinski Creative.

To fill the void left by the soon to be absence of STC, I am developing a new creative company that is separate from my personal portfolio and endeavors. FoldedCat Creative will be launching it’s first website later this year! In the meantime, freelance opperations will continue as normal, however don’t be surprised if you see FoldedCat Creative in my email signatures.

In Transition

March 28, 2011

Lots of exciting things are happening. I just moved my site to Media Temple, and things are still getting worked out, so the site will be in a state of transition for a week or so here until I can get everything back to normal.

Long time client Blooming Tea and I have been hard at work on a brand new site built from the ground up using Magento Go, a new retail CMS from the same platform as Magento Community. Go offers a much more stable environment without sacrificing any of the functionality of the open source community edition. I’m looking forward to unveiling the new site design in the next week here, more on that very soon!
